The Surrender

Ever carried so much weight like grocery bags or anything heavy, and someone offers to help you carry it? Do you remember how freeing and relaxed you feel immediately? That feeling is everything. To know that someone cares enough to carry your weight for you. This feeling is also synonymous to a car running on "E". There is a demand for a refill and the car (us) can no longer go on without fuel.
So many times we allow the world to weigh us down, and all its burdens just seem like a burden too much to carry alone. You stay pressing into God and serving Him and things around you just keep happening that your heart is too fragile to carry. It's like "God!!! what is ALL this for? What ELSE do you need from me?" Guess what? God is waiting for us to drop our bags and weights at His feet and let Him carry them for us. Place all your eggs in His basket (that's the safest place they can ever be). Remember singing "I surrender all..." but in actuality we have not surrendered anything. We sing it but right after the song and the service we carry all the baggage we came with as if God will fight with us to take it from us. He's a gentleman. He doesn't force. You have to be willing to give them to Him. I've come to realize that when you are trying so hard to stay on the straight and narrow, the devil throws things at you or people close to you to shake you up. While you are also trying to take care of God's business, people will not always understand why you can't just serve Him alone and mind your business or you're doing the most. That's okay. I used to live in people bondage wondering what people will say, and how it will hurt when negativity comes. The moment I dropped that care was when I realized I was living fully and effectively.

People are not always cheerleaders for growth and development. They like the familiar and commonplace. It is way too costly to remain as you are. That may mean you must break away from some people that stunt your growth, and focus on yourself and listen to God's voice inside you. Constantly, people accuse me of carrying other people's crosses. I am very sensitive passionate about people. Especially those closest to me, and when they are down I am too.I literally go on my face and cry out to God as if the burden is mine. When your heart bleeds for others, you are doing something right. I believe life should be that way. All it takes is a moment to define all that matters in life. Life throws so many curve balls that try to taint our vision and darken our skies, but we MUST be reminded of the promises of God. He said "He will never leave nor forsake us"-Deut. 31:6.

When we can no longer carry on, He reminds us to "Seek the LORD and his strength;  seek his presence continually!"-1 Chron. 16:11 (It may be hard to go before Him in some seasons of life, but NEVER leave his presence. No.Matter.What)

Something else I have realized and I'm guilty of  is you shouldn't expect people to use your personal standards to run their lives. They have their own race to run, and their race may be different from yours. They have their own seasons, as do you. We learn at different paces. Don't beat yourself up because such and such happened. You have your life to live. Pray for others and LET IT GO. God sees your heart and that's all there is to it. So this week, I challenge each and every one of you reading this to write down all your cares/worries/frustrations/set backs and such and literally set them on FIRE. Yes! Like let your eyes see your cares being burnt. Prayerfully drop them at the feet of Jesus and LEAVE THEM ALONE. Walk in your freedom. This too HAS PASSED. There is joy in letting go, and freedom in the surrender. Walk like you know.

This season you may be facing is a lesson and a blessing that reveals so much about life and yourself you never knew existed. Take in the moments. Count your many blessings.

I believe in you.. God wants your WHOLE heart. Let Him take it and mould it to what He wants. This time of moulding may hurt but the result is worth the pain. Stay in His face. I love you & ultimately mean well.

You are beauty-FULL. Believe NOTHING else.

What REALLY is iVow?

iVow is a group created for serious-minded ladies after God's heart. It is a commitment to living an extraordinary life. After all, we are extraordinary people created for signs and wonders. The mission is to glorify God in our minds, bodies and spirits. This group is a safe place for ladies to lift one another up and be reminded of the greatness within. This is a no-judgement zone. On earth, we are God's hands and feet. With our hands we touch the broken. We heal the sick. We give to those in need. With our feet, we go out of our comfort zones and make Jesus popular through our everyday lives. iVow is absolutely pro-celibacy. We believe our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and as long as there is no ring on our fingers, we will not engage in sexual activities. We are valuable women that have refused to act like the world because we are not of the world. We are alert tourists passing through earth with the Heaven-mentality.

iVow is a movement waiting to explode. The earth is our mission-field. Heaven is our destination. We say what we mean, and we mean what we say.

iVow Pledge:

I vow to be a woman after God's heart.

I will conduct my activities in a way that will reflect the God in me.

I vow to honor God with my words, actions and thoughts.

I will move and let the Spirit of God guide me.

I'm healthy in my mind, body and spirit.

My mind is free of toxic thoughts.

My body is God's holy temple. Therefore, it doesn't engage in illegal pleasure.

My spirit is desperate for God.

I vow to stay committed to living an extraordinary life.

My lips will only speak positive and uplifting words. My mouth will not be used to bash, demean or bring down. My words are like honey-Sweet and healing.

I will be a blessing to those I encounter; especially my sisters.

I will think only of what is pure, lovely and of good report.

I was bought with a price. Therefore, I am valuable.

When issues arise, I will practice self-control and be reminded of the God I serve.

I will walk in my greatness and remain the original version of myself.

I am a unique and limited edition of God's best ladies.

Yes! I am led by God.

Got a suggestion? Let me know. Let's take Jesus to the world and stay classy while doing so, will you?

Remain beauty-FULL and smile this week. Your issues don't define you. You have authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and to overcome the powers of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Walk like you believe this.

I LOVE you! I believe in you. I mean well.
